Concepts of leadership. Leadership theories, models and frameworks. Leadership in comparison to management. Organisational structures and leadership. Characteristics of effective leadership. Leadership styles. Approaches to developing effective leadership. The influence of organisational culture on leadership practices. Leadership vision and values. Strategic planning and modelling leadership behaviours.
