Students are required to submit a research proposal or project plan of not more than 500 words.

Assessment 1: Project Work

You will be assessed on the basis of the professional project (6000 -7500 words).In this assignment you will demonstrate the ability to carry out a research study related to a current work-related problem or contemporary issue. The research study should incorporate evidence of critical engagement with relevant theory and a high level of evaluation, analysis and synthesis.

Project Work

This module will help you design and develop a piece of individual research or a professional project into a current work-related or contemporary issue related the Career Guidance sector You will draw upon a relevant literature review and select and explain an appropriate research design and technique. You will interpret and evaluate the findings and report them in such a way as to encourage dissemination.
