<p>In this module, you will learn about the development of the World Trade Organisation (WTO) in world trade, its remit and how it operates procedurally, further understanding its notable successes and failures as well as criticisms of the WTO.  The module will equip you with an understanding of the concepts behind the WTO and the opportunity to critically analyse the effectiveness of the WTO and the law governing international trade agreements. You will gain an in-depth knowledge of world trade through the agreements and procedures of the WTO.</p>
