<p>Globalisation means that nowadays all business is to some degree international. It is almost impossible to find a product or service that does not have an international aspect to its customer base and its supply chain. In this module, we will look into the business transactions taking place across national borders. You will develop the knowledge and understanding of the external environmental aspects and major issues that businesses are confronted with when operating in international markets. We will also investigate how decision-makers are affected by forces arising at the international level and the opportunities and threats that arise from the existence of such forces. The module covers an introduction to international business principles, including environment, strategy, international trade, international marketing and people in multinational enterprises.</p>
