<p>In this module you will learn about the practice and procedure of dispute resolution in a range of civil legal problems including analysing the merits of a claim and its defence.  You will understand the differences between settling a dispute, the use of mediation and arbitration as well as the steps for commencing, responding to or progressing a claim and preparation of a case for trial, the trial itself and any post-trial steps.</p>
