<p>Niche Tourism is considered tourism activities which do not involve large numbers of tourists within staged settings (which is often referred to as “Mass Tourism”). As the tourist has become more sophisticated and discerning over the years, Niche Tourism has grown in popularity. As a result, numerous travel providers have developed products tailored to the needs of people requiring something “different” from the mass tourist. In this module you will explore and research the strategic direction of numerous niche tourism sub-sectors and identify the management and operational implications.</p>
