Activities providing opportunities for formative assessment will generally be integrated into the teaching and learning process and apply to all components of summative assessment.  The nature of the formative assessment tasks used will be at the discretion of the tutor, to include for example, workshop exercises, quizzes, group discussions.

Assessment 1: Written Assignment

Learners will produce a 1500-word Individual Written Assessment (reflective log), which demonstrates their commitment to managing themselvesLearners will add six pieces of work-based evidence to their Learning Application Report which relate to the learning outcomes for this module. Evidence sources may include; video/audio extracts, written statements, project plans, observation reports, presentations, feedback from manager, supervisors or peers, papers or reports written by the apprentice, performance reviews (150 words each)

Written Assignment

<p>This module will help you understand how to manage people. You will develop an understanding of leadership styles and how to apply these to build motivated and high performing teams. You will learn about talent management from recruitment through to coaching, mentoring and performance management. You will also learn how to successfully build relationships to help you manage change, negotiate and influence stakeholders and overcome conflict. This module will help you deliver performance with and through other people.</p>

Support development through coaching and mentoring and enable and support high performance working

Demonstrate knowledge of organisational cultures and diversity and their impact on leading and managing change

Outline approaches to partner, stakeholder and supplier relationship management and collaborative working, including negotiation, influencing, and effective networking

Identify and share good practice and work collaboratively with others both inside and outside of the organisation

Demonstrate an understanding of how to motivate and improve performance, supporting people using coaching and mentoring approaches

Delegate and enable delivery though others.
