Activities providing opportunities for formative assessment will generally be integrated into the teaching and learning process and apply to all components of summative assessment.  The nature of the formative assessment tasks used will be at the discretion of the tutor, to include for example, workshop exercises, quizzes, group discussions.

Assessment 1: Written Assignment

Learners will produce a 1500-word Individual Written Assessment (reflective log), which demonstrates their commitment to managing themselvesLearners will add six pieces of work-based evidence to their Learning Application Report which relate to the learning outcomes for this module. Evidence sources may include; video/audio extracts, written statements, project plans, observation reports, presentations, feedback from manager, supervisors or peers, papers or reports written by the apprentice, performance reviews (150 words each)

Written Assignment

<p>This module will help you understand and manage yourself as an individual. You will develop an understanding of interpersonal skills and emotional intelligence. You will learn about different learning, behaviour and communication styles and will reflect on how these impact on others within your organisation. You will learn how to manage your time effectively and how to manage multiple tasks to succeed in the role of an operational or departmental manager.</p>
