<p>In this module you will be introduced to the art of creating music for the moving image. This will develop your practical and critical understanding of the ways in which visual and aural images form meaning and are used to structure the audiovisual work as a whole. It also serves as a preparation for the higher-level modules of composing music for film and sound for image. Throughout the year you will build a portfolio or ‘showreel’ of your work that can serve also as a basis in the future for professional work and to boost your employability as a composer of music for moving image.</p>
