Assessment 1: Practical skills assessment

Students will complete a range of professional practice led activities.
One piece of formative assessment will be included for each piece of work, which will normally take the form of formative feedback, prior to the submission of the work as part of the summative assessment for the module.

A well-planned design portfolio evidencing a diverse range of design competencies, and promotional materials.

Portfolio

This module introduces you to issues relating to contemporary design practice. The module aims to develop your understanding of the responsibilities of the designer from a number of different perspectives.  Principles of self promotion are introduced as well as the enhancement professional design skills to improve employment prospects.
