Learning Strategy

The learning strategy is one of learning through exploration. Project work is student-centred and studio/workshop based. Individual or group tutorials and critiques will be used to discuss the development of work as a basis for self-directed progression. Teaching will be constructively supportive rather than directive. The testing phase would need to be negotiated and approved by the course team, before the larger component the realisation phase could begin. Two formative assessment points will occur within the module, one must be scheduled for weeks 4-6, retrieval of a poor performance during none teaching weeks, would also be encouraged. The assessment points would be either group or individual. The students will also be encouraged to engage in peer and self-assessment through out the project.
