<p>This module puts the theoretical knowledge learnt in the second-year module ‘Correction of Vision 1’ into practice. Students will assess the requirements of their patients’ needs and expectations; use evidence-based assessment to make clinical decisions about the management and optimum corrective strategy (if necessary) for that individual.  Students will ensure the correct selection of a contact lens; fit of a contact lens; optimal visual correction and advise patients on the usage and care routines required. Students will understand the legal guidelines and responsibilities within the profession for the dispensing and compliance of contact lenses as this relates to patients.</p>
