This module provides the opportunity for newly qualified social workers (NQSWs) to develop your skills, competencies and confidence. It will also provide you with the opportunity to evidence your continued professional development and demonstrate competence at Assessment and Supported Year in Employment (ASYE) in association with the requirements of the social work regulatory body. Through a structured programme of teaching and learning opportunities you will consider and develop an understanding of your professional social work practice within a working environment. 
This module will provide you with underpinning knowledge that is required to meet the Chief Social Workers’ Knowledge and Skills Statements for Social Work.

Must be registered with the Health and Care Professions Council.  

Must have graduated with social work degree, comply with the requirements of the Social Work professional regulatory body.

Apply critical reflection and analysis within their current practice in relation to their professional body requirements.
