This module will provide you with opportunity to enhance your knowledge and understanding of the emergency care in special circumstances and with vulnerable groups for example children or older people. Emphasis throughout the module will be placed on the holistic assessment of the vulnerable individual/group with development of subsequent management plans from which to provide optimum care.
To support the module theory, you will be working in an emergency care setting to gather evidence in support of the competencies based on the Royal College of Nursing (2017) Framework. This will contribute to achieving the learning outcomes for this module.
