Practical Skills Assessment

This module provides the opportunity for you to develop your knowledge and skills in order to study the musculoskeletal structures of the body in relation to the requirements of a clinical practitioner. In addition, you’ll learn how to undertake a subjective and objective assessment using evidence-based practice and understand the pathology and general management of a range of common musculoskeletal injuries.
You will be assessed through a practical examination which you will demonstrate your clinical assessment and management techniques and evidence your clinical reasoning by critically discussing your approach.

Compulsory for eligibility to apply for registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) and eligibility to apply for membership of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy.
