In-Class Test

You will have the opportunity to develop your knowledge and understanding of homeostasis and the major organ systems of the human body. You will also have the chance to gain the ability to demonstrate knowledge of core pathologies relevant to Podiatric practice, which will enable you to put the module theory into clinical practice. Teaching will be delivered through interactive lectures, spot tests and online tutorial support. 
The aim of the module is to develop your knowledge and understanding of the concept of homeostasis, and the structure and function of the major organ systems of the human body. Therefore the module will enable you to gain the ability to demonstrate knowledge of core pathologies relevant to Podiatric practice and therefore encourage you to contextualise the module theory into clinical practice and thus facilitate the transition to intermediate level modules.

Compulsory for eligibility to apply for Registration at the Health Professions Council and for membership of the College of Podiatry.

Demonstrate the principles of homeostasis.

Demonstrate knowledge of core medical pathologies relevant to Podiatric practice.
