Consists of two group reports relating to the planning, project management and production of a software artefact.

<p>Working as part of a team, this module aims to provide you with an understanding of hardware, software and industry best practices used by businesses. In your teams you’ll be supported in planning, designing and developing a prototype product. This experience has been designed to introduce you to the product development cycle, technology limitations and possible future developments.</p>

Project 1

Recount and discuss product development cycles.

Apply abstract modelling techniques to a problem scenario to build models from a number of perspectives, in order to capture information and to devise appropriate event-driven and algorithmic solutions.

Evaluate their individual contribution to the team and project.

Apply research, design and planning methodologies and techniques to investigate solutions.

Recognise the limitations and merits of the technology, hardware and software used by the industry.

Conceptualise and cooperatively implement an artefact appropriate to their course.
