<p>Personal Learning and critical Thinking Skills are essential skills for progression into work or learning. The content covers knowledge, understanding, skills and attributes relevant to both HE and employment.  These are developed by students undertaking vocational tasks, relevant to their area of study, which encourage the development of appropriate vocational behaviours and transferable skills.  The applied learning brings together knowledge and understanding (the cognitive domain) with practical and technical skills (the psychomotor domain). Transferable skills are those such as communication, teamwork, research and analysis, they will also develop cognitive and problem-solving skills, intrapersonal and interpersonal skills which will prepare them for their next step in life.  This will be achieved by the students working in teams in an entrepreneurial fashion to design and launch a new business idea. Each student must have a clearly distinguished role and produce their own individual evidence for the entire project which can be assessed independently of others’ contributions</p>
