Students will learn strategic and analytical, planning, control and review techniques – and practice them during the planning and implementation of a live event. They will choose and apply appropriate systems to improve operational effectiveness and decision making throughout the project management phases of a Live Event.
Teaching will be via a week session of lectures followed by workshops and planning sessions with their mentors in groups. Week by week the groups will follow the project management phases in order to execute a Live Event. Throughout there will be an integrated approach, with strong links to other areas of the student’s programme such as Design and Events Technology.
