<p>This module provides you with an understanding of the use of data and process modelling to support decision making in supply chain systems. The overall focus is how data can be obtained, extracted and manipulated to enable decision support tools to be used to underpin the management of the supply chain. You’ll learn how supply chain systems can be modelled and analysed for re-engineering and improvement and how to select appropriate modelling tools for particular problems, incorporate data and using the models to evaluate alternative approaches</p>

Have an in-depth understanding of modelling and design of supply chain systems.

Obtain, manipulate and analyse data using relevant modelling techniques..

Know how data can be used to support management decision making in the supply chain.

Develop and use appropriate modelling techniques to evaluate alternative  scenarios.

Analyse Supply Chain processes, design and re-design.

Use the relevant computer software the modelling technique used and interpret and communicate the results.
