This module examines the modern day practices in front office and property management system and applies that knowledge to practical situations. This enables students to gain a basic understanding about the department in relation with operations. Theory is inseparable from practical in this module. This module helps students to understand the operations of the front of the house in a commercial establishment.

Understanding of theories and concepts of property management systems vis-à-vis hotel operations.

Understanding of the nature and significance of front office operations and its relationship with the operations of a hotel.

Demonstrate IT skills relevant to property management systems in hotels for effective Front Office Operations.
