Formative assessment will be provided regularly through individual tuition and through a series of workshops led by members of the performance staff.

Assessment 1: Performance Assessment

A 50-minute performance consisting of advanced repertoire appropriate to the selected specialism (exceptionally, alternative performance modes of presentation may be acceptable at the discretion of the module leader).

On this module you will explore and perform repertoire and skills appropriate to your instrument/voice or specialist route. . You will devise a single programme of music which represents the culmination of your research in the other modules within the course. Performance specialisms reflect staff expertise in MMT, and will likely include Historically Informed Performance, New Music Performance, Brass Band Performance, Popular Music Performance, and more.
