<p>Scoring the Silver Screen introduces you to a range of analytical, critical, and theoretical approaches to music and sound in film and television. You will explore the evolving relationships between technology, economics, and aesthetics in the history of moving image media, with case studies ranging from ‘silent’ films and classic Hollywood musicals to art-house cinema, contemporary blockbusters, and television serials.</p>
