Assessment 1: Written draft

Students will submit drafts of chapters of their dissertation in progress, essay and community history project for tutor comment and guidance.

Assessment 2: Portfolio

Either:  one 12,000 word dissertation
Or : Essay (6000 words) and 
A History in Practice project. This is the public history output, such as an exhibition, website, podcast, audiowalk, pamphlet etc. This will be supported by a portfolio of evidence including a learning diary, primary and secondary source materials and an annotated bibliography(equivalent to 5000 words).
