The formative assessment element of this module is on-going through the supervision process. Students practice and participate in a self-directed joint production process, recorded in the form of blog entries through the VLE.

Portfolio

This module facilitates a group project in unscripted television production. Groups continue formats and programme proposals which they have developed and taken through the pre-production process in Year 2 of their studies (AIC 2424 Developing Formats and Programmes for Television: From Idea to Pitch, FHEQ 5). The module supports students through the production and post-production process of their project with a combination of lectures, supervision and technician-supported studio time providing both technical and creative guidance. Students will have access to a production budget provided by the Department.
