<p>The Introduction to Cinematography and Filming builds skills in camera work and lighting for film and television production. The module develops skills through practical demonstration and practice-based work with screen production and lighting. Through demonstration and experimentation students develop an understanding of the techniques of capturing moving images in a variety of contexts and to different purposes in the process of screen production. Students will work in both film and television studios as well as outside the studio setting. The module reflects on the interplay between practice, technology and textual form.</p>
