Business with Supply Chain Management Professional - UH-000240

The University’s policy for Admissions is outlined in Section D of the Regulations for Awards Handbook (http://www.hud.ac.uk/registry/regulationsandpolicies/awards/).  In addition to the standard University requirements, candidates must meet the following criteria for admission to BA (Hons) Business with Supply Chain Management Professional.
<ul>
<li>Learners must hold English and Mathematics at level 2, or equivalent.</li>
<li>Specific entry requirements will be reviewed annually and made available prior to application. Learners are normally expected as a minimum to hold qualifications at level 3, or equivalent.</li>
<li>Learners should not already hold a degree in a business-related subject, though holders of a different subject discipline may apply.</li>
<li>Mature learners are considered on an individual basis</li>
<li>Candidates from other countries are expected to offer qualifications equivalent to the UK entry criteria.</li>

Course approved by Chartered Management Institute on rolling basis.

Learners will be supported by a number of staff associated with the course, as indicated below:
<ul>
<li>module tutors and module leaders, in the context of module-specific problems</li>
<li>year tutors: each year cohort will have a year tutor with specific responsibility for matters affecting the year group as a whole.</li>
<li>course leader, with responsibility for course-level issues and as an alternative source of support to year tutors</li>
<li>personal tutor system: all learners will be allocated a personal tutor within the Department of Management. Personal tutoring for these learners will be proactive and skills and learning focused, whilst also accommodating those with more specific difficulties.</li>
<li>where leaners have special educational needs alternative assessment strategies or documentation formats may be provided. Support is also available through the Business School’s Learning Development Group (for example regarding dyslexia) and the University’s Disability Office.</li>
