School: In addition, all courses are subject to yearly scrutiny of quality through Annual Course Evaluation, which looks at a variety of measures of performance. Surveys are used to gauge student satisfaction with courses and individual modules, while Student Panel meetings empower representatives to give voice to students’ experiences and to keep a live track of changes that are made in response to issues raised. Student representatives are also invited to Course Committee meetings to contribute to the management of the courses and to represent students’ voices.

The most recent Subject Review for the English and Creative Writing subject area took place in June 2019 and approved all courses considered for revalidation. The panel commended the subject area for the following:
